I just went for my hair and makeup trial and they were Fantastic! The wedding is in 3 weeks I will send pictures then! These woman are great!
I can not even begin to tell you what a wonderful celebration we had thanks to After Hours Orchestra. I think there are three things people remember most about a wedding; the way the bride looked, the food, and the music. Trust me, no one will forget this fabulous band. It's easy to see they enjoy what they do and they do it best! Phil is so easygoing and laidback. He gets back to you immediately and is always pleasant. You can't help but love his high energy and upbeat personality. He truly is the Master of Ceremonies! Everything ran smoothly from the day we booked them until the day they performed. Your guests won't leave the dance floor all night. We saw about 8 bands before them and I guess we saved the best for last. They had everything we were looking for and were the least expensive (which as all you future brides out there know, this is very important!). You won't regret having them at your wedding. Thanks again to all of you! We all had a blast!

When first searching for a music for our Wedding we were sure that there was no one source for all our needs. We wanted specifically a romantic ceremony, followed by a unique and funky cocktail hour and a jazz-club reception. I called Stan on a whim and he could detect my anxiety at first blush. Immediately, I felt relaxed when he said, "Melissa, the answer is yes." This is Stan's mantra and he truly delivers. He came extra early to setup and play his keyboard masterfully as guests entered (this was a free-bee he gave us as an incentive to sign on with his DOC services), provided a grand orchestral harpist (paired with a flutist for free just because he thought the sound would be richer given our choice of music) at our ceremony, shared a funky Indian Sitar and Tabla player for cocktails who were totally authentic in sound and appearance, and also, provided us a with no-vocals 5-piece band jazz reception (the groom was very particular about not having the "Wedding Singer" vibe in the room). The most wonderful part of the entire experience was the fact that our families- who had critiqued us from the get-go about our choices arguing that certain aspects were unconventional like a Sitar player and no-vocals (heaven forbid!)- danced the night away. The only problem we encountered was that there was barely any room on the dance floor when the band played on! Stan is a one stop shop for all your music needs. He and his entourage of musicians are outstanding- and this is coming from a VERY particular and trend aware bride.
Bob and Angelo are the best. They made booking limos so easy and they were so pleasent to deal with. I would book with them again in a heartbeat.
I would totally recommend my makeup artist, Marie Katz, to any bride. Everything was perfect from the makeup trial to the day of my wedding. She arrived early and did a fabulous job on all 8 of us. She was very professional and down to earth. She made me feel like the most beautiful bride!!!!!
Rev. April was always accommodating and a pleasure to work with during the planning process. She always encouraged us to call with questions but I always feel email is more convenient and she always responded quickly and always helpful. Our ceremony was personal and exactly how we wanted it. Our favorite vender and we wouldn't have had it any other way.

Our photographer (and favorite vendor) Andreas Rentsh Photography. Based out of Manhattan, also has a smaller space in Huntington. Andreas and his equally talented wife are a team. Between the two of them they were working 3-4 cameras/different lenses. They are the Cirque De Soleil of Photography. Artistic, Candid, Traditional, Non-Traditional, Technically knowledgable, Creative and Smart Composition, a pleasure to work with, inobtrusive, talks to you, listens to you, and delivers. You will love these two! Andreas has credentials that go on forever ... from Switzerland and back. Our proofs were back fast -- all 1000 of them. Given to us in binders, organized and easy to peruse. We will absolutely use this team again for our daughter's portfolio and our family portraiture. Bonus! Very economical.
