I don't think you can tie personalized ribbons. At least all the ones I've seen you can't.
I don't have one infront of me, but I think you will get the idea..... Take one end & fold it, other end and fold it. You should have the words on each end/side.
Pinch in the center to form loops and tie with choice of ribbon. I used satin roses in center & used the wire to tie closed into the bow

Re: Sorry to start a new thread, but HOW DO YOU TIE THESE BOWS????
I actually tied mine into little bows. I'll TRY to remember to take a pic later and post for you.
I actually did the same as Jenny2penny. I held the ribbon so that the names are facing me on the left and the date is on the right.
Here's what I did:
folding the ribbon in half (well kinda) pinched down the middle to make 2 loops and tied the loops as tying a shoe.
It took a while to get the bow perfect, but once it's tied you can adjust it by pulling and tightening where needed.
It's probably difficult to understand what I did so I will DEFINITELY try to remember that pic!
Good luck! It is definitely time consuming!

Re: Sorry to start a new thread, but HOW DO YOU TIE THESE BOWS????
Take one end of the ribbon and and put it over the other so you form a loop on top and the printed ends are facing you use a glue gun to put a little dot of glue to hold it together in the center
Then take the top of the loop and bring it down behind the center where it is pinched
add a little more glue to stick that to the center pinch
if you'd like you can glue a little flower right in the center of the finished bow
