can i pack this in my carry-on ???
Can i pack my 1 inch flat iron in my carry on??? im going to visit my brother and his new baby this weekend and only taking a carry on... and i cant live with out my flat iron.. so do you think i can pack it??? i dont want them to say sorry you cant take this on board and make me throw it away.

Oh the irony... the flat iron's fine, but leave that deadly HAIR GEL at home  I really don't get our security policies AT ALL...

thats the reason i need to bring the flat iron.. b/c i cant pack the hair gel!

DH & I get all the lighters that get thrown away because MIL works for an airline!!!
The new rules are crazy! She gave us RT tix anywhere in the world as a wedding gift...only problem is...with the way I pack we will spend $500 in baggage fees!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And yes a flat iron is ok...but leave the gel at home...it's deadly!!!
