HAIR ISSUE

How much are you ladies paying for your day of hair? I finally got in touch with my hairdresser who said she would come to me- my RH is down the road from her salon and it is going to cost $200
Am I crazy to think that is overly excessive?? What are you paying?

I think mine was $120...and that was AT the salon! I feel like $200 doesn't sound that crazy if she is coming to the place...sorry! I hope I am wrong! Maybe some of the others will have better news!

I am paying $175 for me. When you think about it, it's expensive no matter how you look at it. Think of it this way, it's more convenient for you! That's the reason I don't mind spening it because she is going out of her way to come to my home the morning of my wedding. It is pricey (so is mine), but if it's the easiest for you, you should do it anyway. Try shopping around a bit if you don't want to spend that much. I'm sure there is someone else who would come to you for less.

as soon as you add the word wedding they double the fee.

Most updo's are $75 and up and then you see bridal hair/updo and it's like $150 and up.

I think it's reasonable. My salon wanted $500 to come out the day of to me...they're crazy!

I used Fresh Face Forward and they were by far the most reasonable. And...they did an amazing job!!!! They were so laid back the day of my wedding, we were laughing and joking, I felt like they were friends hanging out rather than vendors! I think they're a vendor here, I would definately check them out! GL! Oh and they came to me

mine is 200 too. it was so much $$ i decided to do my own make-up. i could def do my MU but not my hair. my lady charges $40 for the same thing but she's way too far from where i'm getting ready and the venue.

Sounds about right - I think mine 5 years ago was $125.

Inflation and gas have gotten prices up there LOL.

That's a good price if she comes to your house or RH to do your hair and then does touch ups before the ceremony.

I have very little hair. My hairdresser told me around $100 but I'm going to her!
