College Textbooks
i was just posting about how expensive textbooks are & i was thinking about all the books sitting in my apartment that i don't need anymore. maybe we should all put together a list of books that we have that we don't need anymore. just add a price that we think is fair. to be honest just to get them out of my apartment i would be willing to give some of them away.
anyone else think this is a good idea??

i have sooo many. but the problem is that a lot of them have new editions.. theyre a few years old.
anyway, if anyone is a history major let me know.

i have noticed that in a lot of classes you can use older additions. just the cover is different & maybe some page numbers have changed.

The come out with new editions not because of different material but so that people are forced to buy the recent version and not used books. It's really unfortunate, and my professors require the newest editions

The odds of someone on here needing one of your old textbooks is probably unlikely. Plus, a lot of girls are down with college on here and I doubt anyone wants to buy an old textbook just for fun to read.
What not post your old books on abebooks or half???

I have an excess of nursing book that are old edition and worthless. My sister sells them on a web site but she only gets like $3 for old ones. I'll ask her what site it is.

I tried to sell my textbooks on half the minute the class was over. It worked out for a lot, but I still have some Accounting/Business books left and like one or two education. If anyone's interested, I'd be more than happy to pass them on.

Some books are so quickly on half.com, and for a decent amount of money. Some of them you get nothing. The worst was when I used to sell them back to the book store at the end of the year. They'd like "50 cents" for a book I paid $125 freakin dollars for.
