French Polynesia, when to go? And hotels!

So it's fallen on my shoulders to plan the honeymoon now that the wedding is done with .
We're looking at the French Polynesia (ideally Moorea, Bora Bora and possibly Tahiti). I definitely want an overwater bungalow with glass floors (or floor windows).
For those of you who've gone, when did you go and what was the weather like? I keep reading that March - May is like the golden time to go, but DH wants to go in the winter because he wants to escape our cold.
Did anyone go in the winter time?
Also ... which island did you like the best? Oh and what hotel did you stay in (if it was an overwater bungalow)?

We went on our honeymoon in November which is supposed to be the beginning of the rainy season, AND the weather was beautiful! We had a few showers in the afternoon here and there, but otherwise it was hot and sunny! We stayed at the Intercontinental Thalasso in Bora Bora. Wow what a gorgeous resort! The overwater bungalows are gigantic and really modern. The view of bora bora from this place is awesome! I'll never forget it! The spa was great too. We are planning to go back in February cause the prices are cheaper. We are going to go to one of the Tuamotu islands. Haven't decided on which one yet, but are looking at Tikehau and Rangiroa. Our TA gave us lots of advance info, dinner reservations etc, as she's one of those south pacific specialists. She goes to tahiti all the time so it's helpful to have her photos and knowledge about the resorts. Anyway, I suggest you get a good agent to help you as there are alot of transfers and things to know. Send me a message if you want our TA's contact info. Have fun planning!
