Burgundy/Gold/Ivory- December
Hey girls, I need some input!
Here's my backstory: in my heart of hearts, I always knew I'd end up getting married in the Winter, and I pictured a burgundy and ivory theme with gold accents. Then when we first started looking at venues, we looked for dates in November and October, so was thinking of chocolate brown and pale pink. THEN, after seeing photos of other weddings at the venues, I started really liking the chocolate brown and blood orange combination.
Well, we ended up booking December 5th, so now I'm right back to square one with the "winter" color palette. Here's my dilemma: I'm trying to convince myself back into these colors after a few months of being used to another idea completely. Secondly, I'm afraid that burgundy is getting to be cliche!
Villa's will be decked out beyond belief for Christmas, so I don't know if I want to go whole hog with the Christmas theme for my own decorations. I'm not into the "Winter Wonderland" ice blue and silver thing at all. Does anyone have pictures of centerpieces, candles, dresses, flowers, etc. in burgundy or wine, ivory, and gold that are Christmas-y without being tacky? I'm going for more that rich Victorian or Dickens christmas look.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

i have TONS of pics in my review....i even had victorian dickens christmas carolers in my cocktail hour  definetly check it out - it's loaded with photos. I did everything Red, Ivory & Gold but kept it very elegant... here's the link :)

Thank you so much! Your wedding was very beautiful. I love the centerpieces, that's pretty much what I had pictured in my mind!
I absolutely LOVE the table name cards in different languages. I was a linguistics minor in college haha. I went on whiteaisle.com and couldn't find them anymore. Were they custom?

thanks so much for the compliments! they were custom... the design i picked was from the site, but u can custom make the names to anything you want  good luck with everything! anything else just ask
