Romance theme

Im thinking of doing a romance throughout history theme and using famous couples for the table numbers. We are getting married near valentines day so thought this was interesting. Has anyone ever heard of this or done it and how?

i love the idea! i'd be happy to help you out and do a little research. i'm just at work now and it's hard lol. i'll definitely look into it though

i defintely think of old hollywood with the pink and gold color scheme

Im just a little nervous with pink in february isnt that more of a spring summer color. Thanks for offering to help I am racking my brain with this and it is sooooo difficult

those are great...what do you think about fictional characters as well like romeo and juliet etc

i like the actors/actresses idea better. there's only so much you can do with Romeo & Juliet, plus the whole star-crossed lover thing...i don't know haha

I am getting married on 2/14/09 am my fiance and i are thinking of doing the same thing..but we were thinking like fictional characters like Ralph and Alice Cramdon and Ross and Rachel..not sure yet though but its def more unique then table numbers

yeah FH and I were getting too stressed thinking of characters we would want to include so we came up with a new idea. we are going to center everything around the word love and then each table will be the word love in a different languages and then at the table card table I will have a litlle poem about how love is the same no matter where you are from and a diagram showing where each table is.

Maybe name your tables after classic romantic movies...
such as Casablanca, Gone With the Wind..... classic stuff and maybe some more recent ones you may really like.

i just made my return address labels with a picture of the LOVE statue in Philadelphia. geez i love this theme
