sandals or couples?

I keep hearing mixed reviews about Sandals but not a lot of reviews about Couples. Any advice? I def. want to stay in an ADULT ONLY ALL INCLUSIVE resort in Jamaica only. Which Sandals/Couples are the better ones and why? (looking more towards ochos richos and Negril)We are looking for both a relaxing time as well as nightlife and are willing to split our time into 2 diff. resorts (we are planning on going for 2 weeks) PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!

I researched both for my honeymoon. I ended up not doing either because we decided to go further away.

Sandals seems to have more restaurants and more room categories. If you book a regualr room, I noticed that they don't have people serving you on the beach- you have to get up to get your own drinks (god forbid! LOL) But I actually wanted people waiting on me, so if we had gone to sandals we would have ahd to book a conceirge suite. I believe there are non moterized watersports that are included. You also get access to the other near by Sandals.

Couples: It seems like they wait on you hand and foot no matter your room category. Non moterized watersports are also included as are sunset catamoran cruises. Few restaurant choices, but from what I have read they say couples gives you a more authentic experience. I think the resort was built to blend with its surroundings. The beach at Swept Away and negril look incredible!!!

DH and i met with two TA's when we were planning. One was dead set on only selling us Sandals. But she also told us for every trip she books there, she gets a free night. She told us Sandals Whitehouse was the best. The next agent told us that he thought Couples was better suited for our needs and wants. He said that Swept Away is supposed to be their best. But then he said he was making us go to Brazil instead cus thats what our dream trip was LOL.

I guess it just depends on what you prefer and what your vacation style is.
