DUET BRIDES I NEED YOUR HELP!!! UPDATED OK WELL NOW I NEED ADIVCE!
I booked them 1 1/2 years ago so I know the prices have gone up.
Does anyone happen to know if you dont have a "Casual day" session in your package how much they charge for it???

I was going to say $200 or $300
Edited to say: I think if you have the pics taken in NYC they charge you an additional fee of like $100 or something.

It is $200 to have the pics taken on the Island, and $300 to have them taken in the city... I added them to my package yesterday.

Ok well now I am a little annoyed and need advice.
I contacted them about doing a "casual day" shoot for my husband and our son as a fathers day gift. I thought we could go to the beach and have some professional shots taken. They quoted me for 2 hous including all proofs and negative that they wanted $600 but since I used them for my wedding they can do it for $500 
I dont care if the prices went up but I dont see what the difference between shooting pics of a toddler for 2 hours or an engaged couple? 
Should I bring this up and see what they say? I really had my heart set on it but no way can we afford $500

I would bring it up to them, especially if you had a good relationship throughout the wedding process.

Yes, I would definitely call them back and bring it up. Tell them what they told you your Casual Day pics would cost and ask why this is now so expensive?
You have nothing to lose by asking since you aren't going to do it for how much they want to charge...which btw I think is WAY too expensive.

Ok I think I am going to call later. $300 I am willing to spend ( I mean I spent almost $200 once at sears ) but $500 is CRAZY
Plus with a casual day dont you get the signing board or do you now have to pay for that seperate????? B/C for that price they didnt even mention any enlargements ( not that I would want a signing board but maybe a few pics blown up)

Maybe they are charging you more because they know this is all they'll get out of you? Since you're not bride, you won't be ordering albums, tons of copies of the pics, etc.?
I would def. ask about the price difference, that's a lot IMO

I guess but I did just give them a boatload of money 4 months ago  I think that counts for something 
I emailed them so now I will just wait and see what they say.
